The Orphanarium are a crazed rock duo consisting of Jack Gleeson (drums, guitar, vocals) and Jeremy Dyke (vocals, guitar, drums) for people who like insane noisy rock-n-roll jived up with random improv. The lads' specialty is mid-set instrument swaps which gives a unique, double-sided flavour to the stylings of the music, the songwriting and the shows. Raised in the hills of toowoomba, recently they have been Brisbane newcomers trying to make a crater in the local scene. After playing numerous shows in the golden country, the lads decided to make the trek to the big city, where streets are paved with gold and hookers are a-plenty. Recently, the lads have been lucky enough to hook up with fellow brisbanites The Red Paintings to support many of their Brisbane, Gold Coast and Northern NSW shows, which have been met with much enthusiasm from local punterios.
