Simon Chan is completing a PhD in musical theatre and the scapegoat. He has composed 6 musicals, one which has been produced twice in the US (New York and Delaware), and three times in Australia ("The Velveteen Rabbit"). Simon is in production for his musical version of Oscar Wilde's "The Happy Prince". He has also performed at the Brisbane Powerhouse with a Pet Shop Boys musical, "Closer To Heaven", and at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts with his cabaret, "Gaysians". Simon holds a Master of Music from QUT, and is also a criminal barrister.
