The Oven has been inspired by the chaos and futurism of Asian cities like Tokyo and Hong Kong and films such as Bladerunner and Liquid Sky, as well as the non-conformist masters of previous eras like Beefheart, Zappa, Joy Division and Eno. Modern electronica is seen by The Oven as providing exciting options in creativity.
