After conquering Hobart's music scene, The Overview made the move to Melbourne. These pop rockers were regulars at Tasmania’s premier music venues, such as The Republic Bar & Irish Murphy’s, alongside many appearances at venues such as City Hall, Uni Bar, Saloon Bar & Curly’s Bar. The group have performed at Tasmania’s Attitude Live festival two years in a row and has had coverage in The Mercury and Sauce magazines, as well as Sea FM, Triple J and Edge Radio. Their track Out Night Effect was a Triple J unearthed feature track and got them a place as a feature artist on The Ultimate Band list. The Overview's latest EP, Motion Black, is swarming with melody and soundscapes of multi threaded bass lines, ambient delays, tasty chords and harmonies. After a strong 2009 and a new EP on the way, The Overview are making a lasting impression in Melbourne.
