THE PACIFICS are: Mark Day: A three foot tall, jaded Brisbanite with a sexual dependancy on his ever expanding pedal board. Alex Cameron: Some kid from the country who, having been taught how to speak proper English, managed to talk his way into being the guitarist for an indie-rock band, despite having only once seen an actual guitar. Jem Rankin + Jack Clarke: The twins from the bay side area, who crawled out of the sea. They are an unfathomably adept rhythm section with an ear for a riff. Together they are nothing. But individually, they make up the four separate parts of The Pacifics machine, clunking their way awkwardly through the Alt-Rock landscape armed with nothing but tasty riffs and whatever catchy hook Mark can scrape from the bottom of a Last Dinosaurs B-side. They play at pubs sometimes. If you come maybe they'll share some of their meagre rider? But probably not. Still come though. All of our tracks were produced by Alex Wakefield. Big thanks to him.
