The Paradigm Shift is the collective expression of four like minded individuals hailing from Melbourne, Victoria, all striving towards a common goal: To bring the Energy and Intensity back to Australian Rock. The process of collating the thoughts, emotions and unique views of the band as a whole commenced in February 2005. It was then that the notion of combining powerful musical instrumentation laced with compelling and distinctive vocal melodies was formed. The craftsmanship of song writing began. An intense practising schedule was put in place, gradually enhancing momentum for the band to take their refined material into a live setting. An immediate impact was made on Melbourne’s live music scene, after victory in the 2005 battle of the sounds competition. It was throughout this time that a 3 track demo was recorded.
