The Passage North is a solo project founded by Jack Anderson in early 2015. 'Beginners', an EP released in the same year, introduced listeners to Anderson's unique playing and writing style with tracks such as 'Kids' and 'Sierra'. After spending the back half of 2015 living and playing in New York City, Anderson returned to the studio in early 2016 to work on three singles with Douglas Schadt: 'For Now', 'Villages' and 'Five Months'. After a brief hiatus, Anderson moved to Melbourne, Australia at the end of 2016 to set up shop in his country's music capital. Since arriving, The Passage North's debut album 'Descendant' reached its final stages working with Joshua Walker, Alex Warren-McCarthy and an assortment of talented friends. 'Descendant' was released on July 1st, 2017, featuring the first single from the album, 'The Vatican'.
