It all began with Mitch, Glen and Tom jamming in the garage-turned-music room at Tom's house. The idea behind the collaboration was to take the writing in a new direction, a more energy focused rock/groove vibe. The riffs and ideas created during these jams quickly found themselves forming the basis of the first album (currently in the process of recording). The trio wanted to get these songs out and test them on the live stage. Enter Ethan - a friend of Mitchell's from uni who played the bass and was into the demo's. Some call it destiny... Ethan fit right in. The Pegs are based in Townsville QLD and are focused on creating fresh, interesting music.
