The Promise was, that they would not die wondering…. or wonder what might happen if they started working on their own ideas…. so they set up some recording equipment… built up a nice area to play, laugh and share ideas, and started capturing some of the things they learned about each other and as a band. The result, so far, is wonderful, open music with so many more ideas yet to be explored. Their Promise to each other is to continue to explore their own music together. Why was The Promise made???? Because they aren’t really a band for a band’s sake….. they are a group of great friends who love each other and love playing music together The Promise is working on its debut album…….."we Promise it won’t be too much longer.” It’s a project started by six guys who have played and recorded together in a bunch of different settings over the past five years.
