Dance Pop = Soul Music?? The Prospects was formed in early 2012 by a tight knit group of ex-high school jazz combo bandmates, now all grown up and making sweet, intelligent soul music in the harbour city. Inspired by classic Motown pop structures and pure sounds of neo soul, The Prospects throw in dashes of tropical ska and huge lashings of groove to create a truly Australian soul vibe.
