The Quolls stockpot of cerebral rock, philosophical pop, blues-esque post-punk and psychedelic stylings are a recipe that ensures that their sound remains unaffected by use by dates. Lyrically they concern themselves with the struggle of humanity, nonsense, parallel universes, love, loving and self loathing. Many years spent treading the sticky carpets of Melbourne’s infamous live venues; all members of The Quolls have cut their teeth in an assortment of bands and styling’s since the early 1990’s. The Quolls are into all aspects of creativity With diverse interests in media, butchery, dream interpretation, animal husbandry and more, The Quolls stand apart from many of their contemporaries because they refuse to be just another rock band and detest the need for absolute definition.
