The Saturday Ship is the power pop project of Saint Augustine, FL, musician Ken McAnlis. Musically grounded in the stylings of pop/rock groups of the 1960s, such as the Beach Boys, the Beatles, The Hollies, the Who, the Turtles, etc., The Saturday Ship also incorporates elements of edgier bands such as the Ramones, and alternative guitar pop bands, e.g. Weezer, Trippin' Daisy, Teenage Fanclub.
