The Save is a young up-and-coming band from Hobart. Originally formed at school in 2008, the band now consists of Jarrod Cole (vocals, guitar), Brennan Azzopardi (guitar, vocals), Cameron Hellinga (bass), Tass Coomber (keys) and Rit Coomber (drums). While falling under the wide spectrum of Indie Pop/Rock, The Save has gathered support through developing their own unique crowd-friendly sound and exploring a number of musical genres. With regular shows at Launceston’s prestigious ‘Top Shelf’ at Irish Murphy’s, The Save have played alongside some top local bands, as well as featuring at Brookfield Vineyard and gigging at many venues around Hobart. Add a live performance on Tim Cox’s ABC morning radio show, and The Save is quickly becoming a young band to look out for. The Save has been recording their self-titled debut EP in August and September, with the help of award-winning Tasmanian producer Lincoln le Fevre.
