The Sharp Ears are a Queensland band with a mission to provide a classic sound whilst still being contemporary. This is achieved through countless hours of listening to the finest bands from anytime between the 1960’s – present and determining what makes each band so great. Using this information, The Sharp Ears have cobbled together a sound that takes the best qualities of each band and compacts them into three minute Rock ‘n’ Roll. Having key influences such as Babyshambles and the Kinks, The Sharp Ears believe in simplicity, with all songs being written on an acoustic guitar before getting the full band treatment. There are no bells and whistles involved in a Sharp Ears song, what you see is what you get and with a bit of luck, you might enjoy it. In 2014, the band released the 'Demonstration EP', a collection of home recordings that showcase their trademark lo-fi sound. Download the 'Demonstration EP' free at: http://thesharpears.bandcamp.com
