The Side Project plays original songs about cartwheels, caramel, and rivers of uncertainty. Featuring the raucous, and sometimes melancholic, guitar riffs of singer/songwriter/guitarist Matt Johnson, the rich, soulful voice and unpretentious, heart-felt performance of Cassandra Jamcotchian, the funky, syncopated bass lines of Adam Stern, and the dirty, driving rhythms of drummer Colin Sevitt, The Side Project is best described as an eclectic mix of indie, rock, funk and country. With unpredictable melodies, unusual chord progressions and lyrics full of raw, emotional intensity, The Side Project reaches out and makes you feel something.
