The Sound Of The Crowd, is a Melbourne outfit, fronted by John von Ahlen, whose influences vary from New Order, Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, and some acoustic acts from the 60s like The carpenters and Randy Crawford. The enigmatic front man started the project as a simple therapy in between clients of his subterranean studio in a city basement, but then, after hearing some good music from many indy bands and singers, he decided it wouldn't be a bad idea to share his music with some other music lovers! The result = TSOTC, and the track "Wildlife", a very New Order inspired tune...Hope you enjoy it!
