Sydney band THE SOUTHERN SET have punched out their self-titled Ep and have stunned an audience with an almighty haymaker. This five track debutant displays strength in style versatility, agility in imagination and a prowess in performance. From the satirical feel good times of ‘The Life’ to the folk ballad of a violent loan shark ‘Ikey Mo’ this album is insane with psychedelic licks, rocking riffs, pop sensibility and a literature as rich with intent as it is with rhythm and rhyme even local hip hop artists are taking off their hats to it. Well worth checking out!
