The Static Fuses started just as a trio in the December, 2007 just jamming in Matt's backyard shed, but with the intention of one day becoming a full song-writing band. The trio soon turned into a quartet as fourth member, Jacob Harris was added in mid-2008 as rhythm guitarist. After a bit of practising and fine-tuning the band was writing full songs, made a myspace and started doing some shows at school. November 11, 2008 was the day The Static Fuses officially started, friendships with other local bands soon started, Ethanol, Hex Ibex, The Benz and many more providing great amounts of support. Performing now at a wide-range of gigs The Static Fuses are getting more and more familar with live-performance and live-entertainment. But it's not all serious, The Fuses prefer to take it easy and enjoy the experience of playing in a band with their best mates from school.
