The Steele Syndicate is a funk-rock powerhouse that delivers a live experience like no other—think rock meets horns in an explosive fusion that leaves no room for still feet. With no backing tracks in sight, this Brisbane-based octet showcases pure, wall-to-wall music, featuring world-class musicianship and a relentless onslaught of anthemic funk-rock brilliance. From soulful ballads to dance-floor igniting funk frenzies, their genre-bending sound guarantees an unforgettable time. Winners of the 2024 Bluesfest Busking Competition, The Steele Syndicate made their mark at Bluesfest Byron Bay 2024 and are slotted to play at Bluesfest 2025. They have also graced the stages of festivals like Woodford Folk, Mitchell Creek Blues, Caloundra Music, and many more. Boasting a roaring four-piece horn section and a rhythm section to match, this band is rapidly becoming a festival favourite.
