The Stringsmiths formed in late 2008, experimenting with home-recording whilst still at high school. After turning 18, played venues such as at the Gaelic Hotel, 'Station Street Sessions', Engadine Bowls Club, Valve Bar, Sydney Livehouse and live on-air at 2SSR FM. The Stringsmiths took out first place in the 2011 Sutherland Shire Battle of the Bands, headlined Menai's Youth Week gig in April and played at Bondi Pavilion for Indent's Open Day. The four-piece has been featured on ABC3's 'Stay Tuned Presents' as well as the Shire/St George Leader Newspaper and are now working on their first studio EP.
