The Strobes first got together in late 2009, Since then they have been playing in venues around Perth, writing new material and have just finished recording their first EP titled “Stone Cold Blue”. The Strobes bluesy sound brings back the true meaning of "Rock Blues" by taking hold of their listeners with an intense set of modern blues riffs and raw lyrics, following in the footsteps of The Black Keys, The Doors and The Black Crows. With Tom Rainford on vocals, Matt Williams on lead guitar, Kris Hailes on bass and Jack Nelson on drums, The Strobes fit the groove of a great garage blues band to remember.
