The Strums are a three-piece punk-rock band hailing from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Since illicitly commandeering an office space and converting it into a close approximation of a real-life rehearsal room The Strums – Jai Sparks on vocals and guitar, Helen Stringer on bass and Dan Topp on drums; everybody screaming their lungs out – have honed their brand of snappy, three-minute punk-rock pocket rockets. You can find The Strums now touring everywhere they can find a floor to sleep on. With more chords than Ramones, fewer words than Bad Religion, and bringing at least twice the sexy of the Sex Pistols, by the end of the night, we’re pretty sure we’re gonna be mates.
