You like grooving and a’ moovin? Well so do The Sugar Spinners, a fresh band from Byron Bay who like to bring the funk. Combining jazz with blues and funk is nothing but a nasty fusion of musical sass. Although a band created by six inspired juniors, their musicality is beyond their years with licks and melodic lines so funky they’re guaranteed to make you shimmy. Their costumes and dance moves are a necessity and, no doubt will boogie you back to the days of ‘A Taste of Honey’, ‘Earth, Wind & Fire’ as well as ‘Nina Simone’ and ‘George Benson’. A funkadelic musical journey that you ought not to miss !
