The Sunny Mechanic draws inspiration from Blues, Folk, Grunge and Rock music, whilst keeping a keenly original sound. The Sunny Mechanic formed 3 years ago in high school & havie been giggings consistently in the Newcastle region over the past 18 months. “A rumble shakes the ground as one Mr. Howling Thommy B arches his back and roars into the empty heavens, guitars flash like lightning, leaving sparks hanging in the air. Like a heavy, distant storm, drums can be heard crashing and raging throughout the night.” - Samual Byfield, “The Critical Review”.
