The Swifts formed in 2005 as a way of combining the song writing and vocal skills of Mihali with the producing and co writing skills of brother Yanni. They immediately decided to write, produce and record their own first full length CD - entitled Quiet Little Mouse - from which some tracks had limited local airplay. They were approached by a local distributor - New Market Music, who helped to reach a wider audience. In the meantime the brothers played local venues and festivals as an acoustic duo, usually with just an acoustic guitar and mandolin and of course their wonderful harmonies. In April of 2006 The Swifts welcomed two new members to the nest. Drummer and percussionist Mick Jankovic sat in on a rehearsal and right away the brothers knew he would be a great asset to The Swifts sound. Daryl Mc Kinlay joined soon after, bringing with him a sweet melodic bass that totally complimented the new material that Mihali was writing. The band imediately hit the road, jumping up on
