The Take-Off is a talented pop punk band, consisting of four freakish pop-punkers from the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. Pras Sayakhot, Tyson Tobin, Jeremy Morrissy, and Brandon Djeri, bring an intense performance and remarkable energy to the stage. The Take-Off have been lucky enough to support the likes of bands such as Kisses For Kings (USA), Tonight Alive, Closure in Moscow, Heroes For Hire and Brittle, and recently supported Triple J Unearthed High winners from 2010, Stonefield. The Take-Off is currently in pre-production for their second EP, and fans should expect the final copy late this year (2011). A new single will include their new track "Smyle", which was recently awarded the prestigious “Best Pop-Punk Track” in last year’s Kool Skools program, funded by JB HI-FI and Studio 52. The innovative sound and killer drum beats & fills, accompanied with heart pumping bass lines and catchy chord progressions, will leave you wanting more. Check us out @
