THE TEA SET Original, Funny and Gorgeous! Guitar, uke, teeny tiny piano, double bass, tea chest, tea pot, tea spoon, gargle and melodica all feature in THE TEA SET set, not to mention two awesome voices (rumour has it that Mary-Lynn Griffith swallowed a little bird to acheive her sweetness of tone while Ms Sue Arnold swears by a good gargle of tepid tea.) John O’Hagan on double bass is a classy player with jazz, pop and theatre credits to his name and is well known for his time in the air as the flying double bass player in Circus Oz. Between them, Mary-Lynn, Sue and John have performed all over the world from Glastonbury Festival to Byron bay Blues Fest to Vancouver Comedy Festival. “THE TEA SET were one of THE BEST ACTS at the 2015 Melbourne Uke Fest” “SO GOOD!” Bosko and Honey "The Tea Set are a hoot on so many levels: If I was daft enough to book a festival, I'd book them!" Mal Webb.

The Tea Set
Bio history
Three hard working musicians form a band. They spend 2 years and all their money writing, refining, and recording an album. The Tea Set's debut album was mixed and produced by LA based Anthony Cormican (Birds of Tokyo), and with tracks mastered by industry titans Howie Weinberg (The Killers/Nirvana/Muse/Aerosmith/Van Halen) and Gene Grimaldi (KISS/Icona Pop/ PennyWise/Lady GaGa), the songs, the statements and the sonic integrity of this labor of love are sure to surprise and impress. The Beginning… Several bands share a bill. Their reputations precede them. One band talks about "this front man... This singer.. You just have to see him", the other band talks of "this drummer... Smashing skins like he is slaying dragons to the groove! And a guitarist, shredding the gnar... All between stage dives and scissor kicks". Rival bands watch each other eagerly... And it's clear what needs to happen. Three paths converge, and The Tea Set is formed out of a mutual appreciation for both each
