For Brisbane-based art rock band The Theory of Beauty, music is a canvas to experiment and reflect on life in the process. From soft introspective moments to loud shoegaze inspired sections and everything in between, the band delivers a dynamic sonic experience for listeners. There are strong influences from bands such as Radiohead, Elbow, Death Cab for Cutie, American Football and The Smashing Pumpkins on display in their music, but they also draw from their more diverse influences to push beyond the typical confines of rock. As they work on their first full-length album behind the scenes, their sound is certainly going to continue evolving as more songs and live shows follow.
