The Trepids have gone through many changes in nearly a decade of blood, sweat and beers, but have always maintained a laser focus on the music itself. To those who have never seen them in action, the energy and atmosphere at The Trepids shows can come as a surprise - their approach to life and art has earned them a modest yet fervent following of punters who know every word to their considerable collection of existential anthems. Poised and ready for their first official release in almost four years, The Trepids have stripped away all the dross and pretence of the scene they find themselves in, and have amassed a collection of new songs to offer their beloved friends in the know. “Vultures” is recorded and mixed entirely in-house, and is ready for release on April 12, marking the beginning of a new era for the boys, and those lucky few who have picked up on what makes their music a special thing to be a part of.
