The assorted sounds of this Melbourne four piece can span from a wall of shoe gazed guitars backed by crashing cymbals to a psychedelic bass riff swirling in-between an off beat swagger of drums. And among all this the songs are delivered with pop drenched melodies and inspiring lyrics that leave you whistling all the way home!! For the last four years, the four lads that make up The Vacant Lanes have been gigging their infectious tunes around the local traps of Melbourne. In their time they have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with such bands as The Hovercrafts, 67 Special, Blueline Medic, Brilliant Fanzine, and The Suits amongst other fine acts.
