we're a rocknroll band from melbourne. we draw influences from psychdelic music, garage punk, californian surf rock, hip hop, funk, soul and blues. we're a bit of a hot mess when it comes to genres. we'd describe our sound as an amalgamation of all of that. because, why not? creating and performing music has been deeply ingrained in our souls since birth. no matter where we go or what we do; all roads lead to music. we will live like this for our entire lives regardless of success or failure. we are what we are. we do what we do. we love what we love. xo the velvets
