This what Alexander (Bass, Vocals - Australia), Richard (Guitar - New Zealand) and Johhny K (Drums - Korea) do for fun. So far the Waking Party have amassed 40 gigs, released an EP "Romancing the Savage" and played at the Korean Flow Festival. They have also supported the likes of Mach Pelican, Japanese bands Doberman and Limited Express (has gone) and played along side legendary Korean punk band Crying Nut. October saw the inclusion of 2 Waking Party tracks on the Asah! Records "Where the Wild Things Are: Music of a new Korea" compilation, and they are soon to pay their first visit to Japan playing with Shift. ....all this since forming August 2005.
