‘The Walking Who’ have always leaned into a DIY approach to music production. From the dilapidated 1970’s mansion in Wollongong, Australia where Brown started the project, to his current creative Labyrinth: A -4 sub-terrestrial converted WWII army tunnel in Prague. In 2022, The Walking Who have released an EP ‘Mr. Cornelius’ and self-produced an award-winning experimental short film (also named ‘Mr. Cornelius’) that will be released online in early 2023. A friend suggested that he enter his film into some film festivals including the prestigious Cannes World Film Festival. Rohin was recently announced as the winner in 3 categories - Best New Wave, Post Modern Film; Best Indie Short Director and Best Soundtrack. He was also nominated for Best Experimental Film. The new song ‘Halloween on Christmas’ merges the soundwaves captured from both the northern and southern hemispheres. The lyrics capture an eerie moodiness that Brown builds off as the song moves forward into a punk dystopia.
