The Way began to form in 2013 out of seeds that were planted 10 years earlier. After a couple of demo's and a handful of shows, we're crystallising our vision, starting work on our first record, sharing what we have been developing. We're about rhythm, melody, rawness, vitality, harmony and resonance. We like stuff from The Beatles to Beefheart, Ramones to Joy Division, Bo Diddley to Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel to The Smiths, Nick Drake to The La's. Velvet Underground and Ravi Shankar, Black Sabbath and The Misfits. That doesn't mean we sound anything like them, and that doesn't mean we don't get more Inspiration from a purple stem, birdsong, Aldous Huxley or a Doughnut.
