Hailing from Brisbane, The Wet Whistles features guitarists Caillin Malley & Nick Trovas along with The Hill Brothers, Jordan and Jake on percussion and banjo. The four musicians started the band purely as a convenient way to have fun and spend more quality drinking time together and two years and countless Jägermeister shots later, their ‘stomp and holler’ country live shows have become synonymous with big nights and sore heads around South East Queensland. Not only are they all fabulous artists but all four members take it in turns singing lead and their superb, creamy four-part harmonies are developing as something of a Wet Whistles Trademark sound. Their originals get as much sing-a-long traction with crowds as the band’s off beat covers and plans to a release whole lot of new music over the coming months will catapult these boys to a new set of adoring fans.
