The WhiskeyDicks are a raving group of Celtic Gypsy Punk Rockers who have a throbbing reputation as "One Hell of a Good Time". They began in 2001 outside the liquor store in Whitehorse when a pair of brothers and one good friend set out to earn money to spend at the liquor store by playing music about liquor in front of said liquor store (for more details, listen to “chim chimney” From Get’er done, 2008). Since moving to Vancouver in 2002, the band has earned themselves a handful of music degrees and a large fan-base in BC and the Yukon, where they’ve continued to perform four or five times a year since they left. They are a strange brew of Fiddle, Cello, Guitar, Drums, Accordion and Voices spiked with enthusiasm that is infectious and eclecticism that knows no bounds.
