The Window in Floyd’s music feeds off a kaleidoscope of indie rock, synth pop and alternative influences. With songs about hope, uncertainty, love and loss; the band is guided by a love of angular guitar oriented music, but with a desire to colour their sound with electronic textures, synthesisers and dance-inspired beats. Inspired by the likes of The Kills, Depeche Mode, Kings of Leon, New Order, and In The Valley Below, TWIF seek to conjure their own brand of electro indie rock juxtaposed with pop sensibilities, and layered melodic harmonies.
