Since forming in 2010, The Workinghorse Irons' uniquely ferocious sound and live show quickly established themselves as a must see a band in the vibrant rock and roll community of hometown Melbourne Australia. Mixing elements of Punk Rock, classic Aussie pub rock, blues and roots the sound of The WorkingHorse Irons has left Audiences sweaty and sore across the nation. Garnering support from even the most jaded rock lovers with their no nonsense, no ego, balls to the wall approach to rock and roll. Consistent live shows and national touring saw the band gain attention from overseas promoters, resulting in an offer to play the highly revered cult underground festival Psycho Carnival in Brazil in early 2011 with such bands as Nekromantix(DEN/US), Mad Sin(GER/US) and Phantom Rockers(UK). Widely considered a crowd favorite of the festival, the band capitalised on the offer extending their stay in Brazil to include another three shows throughout brazil on top of their festival
