Them and the so-alones began in 2008. They've hosted, set up and played at many alleyway shows around South Australia playing with acts from inter-state and over seas. Kate and Bridget have known each other since they were ten and both share a passion for music of many different genres. The bands availability varies because both band members study full time as well as Kate doing belly dancing and Bridget doing stand-up comedy.
