After capping a well of creative lyric and music as a teenager, in favour of conventional career path, Mike has found the passion once again and is eager to document his diverse taste, by blending his earlier penned songs with fresh observations. A musical commentary on a range of topics including good coffee, bad manners, and the battered condition of the modern human soul and its remedy. Many musical influences have shaped and modelled his sound like jazz,rock,funk,techno,house and big band. With so many styles and generations to draw inspiration, why waste them. Under a working moniker of Theodolite, the aim is to push a fistful of half finished tunes through machine in the not too distant future. The three songs submitted here, whilst unpolished, offer a small insight to what heck is going on in his brain, with each offering a different style and genre....hence the reluctance to pigeon hole who he may collectively sound like. You can catch Mike satisfying his rock/funk cravings
