The Adelaide duo, although not a common club name have been mixing it up on the decks since 1997 and are known for using 4 turntables and 2 mixers to produce their brand of dance music. Theque have spent many years trying to break into the Dj world without much success. Although achieving a few personal goals and gaining some recognition, both locally and nationally, they found it difficult to break the local scene. Theque being excited by the new sounds, coming out from a few dance floor producers, decided it was time to initiate plans to produce an album of their own. Theque spent the early part of 2005 setting up a studio in the Adelaide hills and they dedicated the rest of the year to producing their debut album, Knowledgy. The end of 2005 saw the completion of their album and the duo are now rehearsing a live show.
