Thom Wayne Thompson, singer/songsmith from Melbourne Emo-Rock band PACER 21 has just released a new single for 2024 entitled 'Right On Command'. The song is a return to his power-pop / emo-rock roots with soaring vocals and driving guitars. "I wrote the song after moving to Northern New South Wales from the Surf Coast in Victoria.. about being a 'stranger in a strange land'. I also drew inspiration from my time at Military Cadet School in The Australian Army.. feeling out of place but finding friendships along the way.." This is the first newly released material in 13 years after releasing a solo album entitled 'The Day that you won' back in 2010 (CD, Spotify, Streaming Services), which featured guest musicians including: Dan Parson (Pacer 21), Glen Maynard - (Pollyanna, Pacer 21), Eliza Jacobs, Ollie McGill - (The Cat Empire) & Michael McClintock - (Baker Boys, Gotye).
