Brisbane based Aussie pub rock band ‘The Thrill’ are creating quite a dent in the Brisbane music scene since only forming in December 2013. Forming under a different name in 2012, John (guitarist) soon found that a line up change was imminent. This is when Kirk joined John on vocals, The Thrill was born. When becoming finalists in the Emergenza competition in 2013, it quickly became apparent that this band was going to go somewhere. After supporting French band Harmonic Generator, they dove into the studio to record their EP at Tall Poppy Productions, where it was produced and mixed by Nathan Woodrow and mastered by Tom Coyne from Sterling Sounds in New York, USA. Come along to their next single launch at The Zoo on March 22nd, for their new EP launch called ‘Creep in’, and prepare to be ‘Thrilled’!
