What do you do if you drummer leaves the band? You go accoustic! The Tides are a three piece Melbourne (Mornington Peninsula) outfit recently evolved from a rock band. Moving away from rock sounds has been a journey for three kids from the grunge generation and they are excited about these new beginnings. The contrast has been surprisingly inspiring and the band has found themselves creating catchy acoustic tunes with insightful lyrics. We would love to hear what you think!!!

Tides is a bunch of mates with a common love of music, surfing, partying and all things fun. Made up of members from Sunshine Coast‘s favourite’s Including Drawcard’s high energy rock and roll guitarist and vocalist Paul Durkin. The Dawn Chorus’s lyrical and musical mastermind, Mitch Davis and dynamic deep groove bassist, Jonny Fell. And Dementia 13’s blisteringly precise punk rock drummer Nat MacDonald. Tides is a high energy, heart felt Aus Rock band blending their favourite genres of Punk, Rock, Soul and Blues to deliver a powerful new sound and electric live show.
