Tight knit emerged out of a Melbourne living room as two friends shared their thoughts, diary entries and chords over bottles of ALDI wine. Jamie King-Holden of Bored Nothing was soon brought in to hang out, play drums and pull the trio together. In 2017, they played a string of live shows around Melbourne and Adelaide, and recorded an album with Raul of Magic Dirt before Caitlin moved to the UK. Now, with its members in different continents, the project has evolved into a long distance back-and-forth of demos doubling as recounts of their distant daily encounters. They’ve released 3 singles from their forthcoming album, and plan to release the entire LP in the later half of 2018.
