I write, perform and produce music. From a young age I was heavily influenced by music; I took lessons in Violin, Piano, Trumpet and Drum-set. Over the years I have been lucky to have work with some amazingly talented people and learn from very knowledgeable people in production, and have also been able to participate in research and pioneer certain forms of music therapy with the elderly and critically ill. I Write and/or perform with a variety of Independent artists and release my own material under my Name; ‘Tim Godwin’ and ‘The Social Norm’ which ranges in genre from ‘Quirky-Synth’ ‘Experimental’ to ‘Hard’ and ‘Punk’ Rock. I often mutli-instrumentalist these recordings and occasionally collaborate with guests. I Like most contemporary genres, especially indie rock, indie pop, industrial and groove metal and often juggle 2-3 different recording or live projects in differing genres. I love street performers and I love taking my drums down to the local park or beach, improvising and feeding off peoples reactions.
