Distrosub

A Singer-songwriter, musician and budding producer and mix engineer from Moe (pronounced Mo-ee) in Gippsland, south eastern Victoria, his diverse collection of musical influences include Jars of Clay, U2, Switchfoot, Suzanne Vega, The Beatles, Rammstein, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Muse, Toto and pretty much every other artist he's ever heard. After picking up the guitar in 1986 and switching to the bass in 1988 and playing in multiple bands around Sydney and Melbourne, he and music had "split up" by 2012. When a terrible and tragic mistake cost him everything, a re-connection with music became a cathartic outlet for dealing with the pain, guilt, damage, heartbreak and loss caused by his actions and all of these emotions shine through in his music. As Tim rebuilds his life, music plays a pivotal role in this journey from brokenness to restoration and redemption. The songs have an almost "irresistible relate-ability" as the lyrics paint vibrant pictures and tap into the emotions and experiences of the listener.
