TIMBAKAT is the new project from Bendigo/Melbourne two-piece Matt Katsis and Simon Wood. 2019 saw the release of their debut single “Big Mama’s Door”, which was a nod to American Country Blues musician Alvin ‘Youngblood’ Hart. 2021 will welcome their debut EP “How Far” - recorded live to tape in Selby, Victoria with additional overdubs and mixing taking place at Half Mile Harvest; The Teskey Brothers home studio in Warrandyte, Victoria. TIMBAKAT promises good ol’ fashioned swampy electric blues, soulful harmonies and impromptu jams with a psychedelic undertow.
