Timothy Nelson (WA) is a multi-award winning singer/songwriter, who’s 2016 album “Words Like Young” was hailed by TheMusic.com.au as a “brilliant solo debut”, and Rolling Stone as ”a wonderfully personal, yet inviting release”. With a knack for fusing clever lyricism with unforgettable hooks, combined with a blend of 70s folk rock meets 90’s power pop, Nelson has a bit of a reputation for putting out ear worms - having collaborated with folk artists like Liz Stringer, to hip hop legend Drapht, and performing all over Australia, the USA and Japan, supporting the likes of Parquet Courts (US), Drugdealer (US) and Ron Sexmith (CAN). Drawing influence from many of the greats, whilst presenting you with something entirely new, Timothy Nelson’s highly anticipated upcoming album Debaser Tapes is set to drop late 2024.
