Multi-instrumentalist-songwriter Tom Caughey combines elements of psychedelic rock and alternative folk to create a sound that both tugs at your heartstrings and gets your body moving. Tom’s deep lyrics dive into the harder times in life to provide a place of relativity and understanding for those going through mental health issues or just a rough patch. The Hideaway, released in 2019 illustrates a time in Tom’s life when he was dealing with great loss and solitude. An outcast at boarding school dealing with the devastating death of his ex-girlfriend. The explosive sorrowful psych tune begs to humanity to not leave tragedy behind. To never forget those that have gone, and to not hide away from our problems. Maybe there we will find those passed, and ourselves. Tom has been recording demos and playing gigs since 2017. When Covid19 hit he spent his life savings on recording gear and head to the bush to lock himself up in a 100 year old family farm house he converted into a studio.
